Up Is Down, Left Is Right, and Pizza Is a Vegetable
In a crazy-questionable decision, Congress recently blocked a proposal by the Department of Agriculture regarding school lunches in the United States. The goal of the proposed changes? To reduce childhood obesity by increasing fruits and vegetables, limiting potatoes, and reducing salt in the lunches being served. However, a bill released this month blocks the spending associated with these changes. One result (among others) is that schools will continue to be able to count the small amount of tomato paste used on pizza as a serving of vegetables. HHHHMMMMMM  Seriously???

What is your opinion on school lunch qualifications?
